Ford had been synonymous with commercial vans, but took a great step forward in the light van evolution in the mid 1950s when Ford of Britain introduced the Ford Thames 400E. Over 187,000 were made over the ensuing 10 years, before it was superseded in 1965.
This 1:76 scale replica, with sliding side door feature (non-working) comes in the famous British Railways two-tone cream and crimson lake livery of the period, complete with detailed 'chrome' petrol cap, wheel hubs and door handles, with its fleet number on the door. Our model has the registration NVY 385 and fleet number FW 1125 from the northern region.
An ideal addition to your Ford Vehicle Collection.
