Things You Need to Know
We founded Tierney Model Railway Shop with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. We conduct business according to the same values, knowing that better service equals loyal customers. SHIPPING POLICY
Custom Merchandise
Custom merchandise from Ruffles Road and British Locomotive Studios will be dispatched directly from our printers, as such collection will not be available. These items must be ordered separately from our standard stock.

FORTHCOMING RELEASES & BACK-ORDERS
Forthcoming releases and back-orders will be dispatched to customers as they become available and shipped together wherever possible. If they are released at different times, order items will be subject to additional separate shipping charges. You will be contacted to confirm if you wish to wait for the full order or pay the extra shipping charge.

£5.00 per delivery - 7-10 working days if item is in stock.
PRODUCT IMAGES & DESCRIPTIONS
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and the related images are correct. However, in some cases, we may use a stock image of the item or accidentally list a picture of a different item. Due to this, all photos should be treated as being for illustration purposes only. The customer must verify that the product description is correct for the item they are ordering.
RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days if the product has not been used, changed, washed, or otherwise manipulated in any way. The original packaging of the products must be returned unopened.
A return charge may apply if products are returned to Tierney model railway store without Tierney model railway store's prior written consent.
Returns must be made within 28 days if an item is faulty. Those items will only be replaced or refunded if they are returned in their entirety with a valid proof of purchase and if they are unfit for use.
Items must be brought into store or mailed at the customer's expense.
If you haven't returned the item to us, you won't be able to get a refund or exchange.
PRE-ORDER ITEMS
A pre-order is a term used for placing an order for an item that has not yet been released by the manufacturer.

DEPOSITS
We will take a 10% deposit for all pre-orders items. The balance will then only be invoiced once the products arrive in stock to us. Deposits are non-refundable.

PRICE INCREASE
Occasionally the manufacturer will increase the selling price of the product before its arrival. Should this happen, we will always try to honour the original price. In the event that this is not possible, you will be contacted to confirm if you wish to accept the new price or cancel the pre-order. If you accept the new price, the order will proceed at the higher price and be updated on your pre-order; if you choose not to accept the new price, we will cancel the order.

CANCELLATION
You can cancel a pre-order at any time up to the arrival of the product. You can do this by contacting us.
You will not be invoiced, and you have the right to cancel at any time. If a deposit has been paid, this is non-refundable and will not be refunded.
BACK-ORDER OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
A back-order is a term used for placing an order for an item that is currently on back order with the manufacturer.

PRICE INCREASE

If you accept the new price, you will be invoced the price difference of order if you choose not to accept the new price, we will cancel the order.

You have the right to cancel at any time. If cancelled after item has been shipped by the manufacturer we will charge a 10% cancellation fee.
