The B-wing starfighter looks very unusual due to its unique design with stationary canopy and gyroscopically suspended main wing. However, this design allowed for a larger field of fire and poorer target acquisition by the enemy's sensors. At the Battle of Endor, B-wings were able to knock out two giant Star Destroyers without any assistance.
