The 24T Iron Ore hopper was ordered by BR in 1950 and rather unusually, all 1500 to diagram 1/162 were constructed by outside contractors. The Graham Farish model faithfully replicates this historic wagon and is offered here in the vibrant yellow of the Cadbury Bournville company, which would have used these wagons to transport raw material to their factory.
